Spokane MarCom meets on the first Friday of every month from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the Herak Club Room at Gonzaga’s McCarthey Athletic Center, 801 N. Cincinnati (except July, August and January). The first meeting of the year, however, will take place on the second Friday of September (10th).
Meetings feature presentations by local, regional and national experts on a variety of profession-related topics ranging from effective media relations and community relations tactics to crisis communication planning and advertising strategies that get results.
The meeting fee, which covers breakfast, is $5 for student members with RSVP, $10 for student non-members, $15 for members at the door and, and $20 for non-members at the door. Discounts are available for members who pre-pay for all 9 breakfasts.
