MarCom was founded in the 1960s, primarily as a networking and socializing group. Today Spokane MarCom members have taken that foundation and built a professional organization that includes more than 100 members from nearly every major employer in the Spokane area.
Spokane MarCom members are professionals who are passionate about their work, often operating in highly visible positions as spokespeople for their companies.
They also work to ensure the future of their profession by funding two to three paid internships for junior or senior-level college students studying public relations, communications, or marketing.
Students are matched with host companies related to their specific career interests for a 10 week internship.
Becoming a member of MarCom, Spokane's Largest Regional Association, is easy to do.
