Amanda did an excellent job paying attention to detail. She was always willing to jump in and problem solve. She didn’t need a lot of direction, which is key in this line of work.
Our environment is different than most companies and it is important to have the ability to see problems coming up and try to stop them before they become issues. That usually only happens with experience on the job.
I would definitely host an intern again. It’s great to share the experience of a different type with the students. I think we can give them some experience in an area that most students don’t even learn about in the PR programs.
