The Spokane MarCom Internship program was a tremendously valuable experience. My intern was talented, enthusiastic and wanted to be helpful wherever he could. His initiative and ability to work independently made him feel more like a team member than a student who needed constant supervision. His ability to complete tasks timely was a great asset as we were able to decrease production times on a number of projects.
He has been very helpful on a variety of writing and design projects while with us, such as copy for radio, television, brochure and print ads, and multiple editing projects, just to name a few. As an active participant in meetings throughout the organization he gained a deeper understanding of the marketing and communications process as we work to promote and inform the community about our mission.
